Rose Gold Baguette Hoops

Chunky hinged hoops in 925 silver with a warm gold plating. A channel of white baguette zircons runs down the middle of each hoop, edged on both sides by rows of tiny champagne toned zircons. The stones carry on around the inside of the hoop, so they sparkle from the front and from behind.

Each hoop is a flat band, fairly wide, shaped into a round huggie. Down the centre is one long line of baguette cut zircons (cubic zirconia), rectangular stones set close in a channel. On each side of that line is a border of very small round zircons with a slightly champagne colour, so the hoop has three rows in all. The same pattern is set on the inside face too, which is why the photos show stones glowing through the middle of the hoop. The outer back of the hoop is plain polished gold, and near the hinge there is a cut-out lattice pattern. The hoops open on a hinge and close with a snap post that clicks into the other side. In size they are medium: when worn they would hug the lobe and hang a little below it. Sold as a pair.

These are easy to wear with a plain kurta or a work outfit and still look dressed up. They suit Eid lunches, dholkis and dinners, with anything in maroon, black, mustard or emerald. Wear them alone, with the hair tucked behind the ear, since the band itself does the work.

The hoop is cast in 925 silver with channels for the stones, then the baguettes and the small zircons are set by hand. After setting, the whole hoop is gold plated and polished. The hinge and snap are fitted and checked so the hoop closes flush.

Open and close the hinge gently and push it until you hear the click. Keep the hoops away from perfume and water, which wear down gold plating faster. Wipe them with a soft dry cloth and store them closed in a pouch so the stones do not knock against other pieces.
